Microsoft is projected to compile the RTM build in the coming weeks, with some sources previously indicating that the target was mid-March. What’s important to know, however, is that build 15055 is not RTM, though it’s very clear that it’s not very far from it either. In other words, Microsoft kind of confirms that the Windows 10 Creators Update is projected to be finalized as soon as this month, and the update to version 1703 is living proof that we’re almost there. Version 1703 is a direct reference to the RTM build, as it marks the compiling date: the first two digits represent the year, while the other two stand for the month - in this case, it’s March 2017. The new build 15055 is the first one that’s updated to version 1703, which is expected to be none other than the RTM, though the build number is likely to be different. Microsoft rolled out Windows 10 build 15055 a few minutes ago, and in addition to all the bug fixes and improvements that are part of the release, there is also a change that confirms some of the rumors we’ve heard recently regarding the RTM build.
